"I find the universe to be an amazing place. And I believe that that's the kind of spirituality that I'm interested in... And the truth must be about the miraculous nature of the universe that we're born into. And our opportunities to learn and develop and to understand more are built into the way the universe is structured. And you can call that spiritual, or, I don't know, you can call it scientific, or you can call it philosophical. But at a certain point, if a philosophy is telling the truth, it's saying the same thing as a religion - if a religion is telling the truth. And if a science is telling the truth then it's saying the same thing as a philosophy or a religion. An understanding, an insight can come through any of those disciplines. But at a certain point, if it's saying something true, then it's saying something universal. That might be a spiritual idea."
