Music Of Sound is a compilation of sound works inspired by the tones, drones and rhythms of everyday life. Drawing on the ideas of Pierre Schaeffers’ Musique Concréte movement, contributing artists were invited to respond to the tones, timbre and rhythms present in everyday acoustic sound, and field recordings. The resulting collection of tracks is an innovative and eclectic set of contributions from a wide group of international sound artists known for their work in this field.
