Alice Coltrane (piano, harpa); Pharoah Sanders (saxofone tenor, flauta, clarinete baixo); Jimmy Garrison (contrabaixo); Ben Riley e Rashied Ali (bateria). O trio base é composto por Coltrane, Garrison e Riley, que alterna com Ali na bateria. Sanders dá uma mão nos temas mais longos. A voz que se ouve e loop na abertura de The Sun é de John Coltrane.
