«The Avant Post is a new venture dedicated to avant garde music of improvisational nature. It's purpose is to perpetuate the effort to keep New York a fertile ground for fresh musical exploration, and promote a collaborative approach among musicians. It is a monthly event hosted by Michel Madie's Temple M - a new and magnificent uptown venue - and curated by pianist Tonino Miano and violist Frantz Loriot. The performances take place the first Sunday of every month at 6:30 pm, and are followed by a jam session open to all improvisers».
