We, the Classical Music Villains..............There's nothing like the American cinema to incarnate nightmarish villains. These purveyors of evil and doom know how to put a chill on the bone and shiver up the spine. There's Virgil "the Turk" Sollozzo from the Godfather ("I don't like violence, Tom. I'm a businessman. Blood is a big expense"); Darth Vader ("You don't know the power of the dark side"); the Wicked Witch of the West ("I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too"); Jason from the Friday the 13th franchise (he gets away without saying much); and, well, Mozart.
That's right, Mozart. Although he has yet to be portrayed sporting an eye patch and scar, let alone Freddy Krueger's glove-of-knives (which would make playing scales quite a chore), make no mistake: Wolfy is one dastardly dude. (continua... )
