Cuneiform Records is proud to announce that British avant-jazz group Led Bib's new CD, 'Sensible Shoes', is on the short-list for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize's 2009 "Album of the Year". The upcoming Mercury Awards will be televised, and will feature performances by Led Bib and all nominees. The 12 nominees will perform and the overall winner of the award will be announced in a ceremony in London, tuesday, September 8th, 10:00PM BST. The ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, in London. BBC 2 will televise the Mercury Music Prize Awards Cermony live on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:00PM BST. BBC 2 will also broadcast an extended version of the Mercury Music Awards Ceremony 2009, showing entire performances on Friday September 11th, at 11:40PM BST.
