This month, as Autumn creeps in, we have a stunning album for you from Cologne, Germany based artist Nils Quak. This album is a lovingly crafted blend of pulsating drones, distant field recordings and repetitious minimalism. Nils has also chosen to include with this album, his own custom made Max/Msp application. The app is included in the zip files, in both standalone Windows and Mac versions.

Katherine Young, Things Suspended Converge and Fall. Para a execução das sete peças do disco, a compositora e fagotista, formada pela Wesleyan University, onde foi aluna de Anthony Braxton, reuniu em ensemble de 19 músicos de cordas, metais e percussão, piano acústico, piano Wurlitzer, electrónica em tempo real Max/MSP e máquina de escrever. Gravação ao vivo no Cromwell Concert Hall da Wesleyan University. Edição da netlabel Mandorla.
